The 2017 Pacific District Conference will be held in Olympia, WA., on April 21 -22 at the Red Lion Hotel. The room rate for our group is $99, so book early. Menu selection will be determined in December.
For those compatriots who have never before been to a District Conference, this is an excellent opportunity to learn about the inner workings of our great organization. You will not only have the opportunity to sit in on the Executive Board meeting, you will also be invited to attend a general-membership meeting attended by individuals from Alaska, Washington, and Oregon. During the down time, there will be display tables to peruse, and workshops to attend.
A raffle will be conducted to raise money and help defray the cost of the conference. The first item to be raffled is a beautiful painting depicting a few of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. It is titled, "Making of a Nation," and was painted by Don Crook. The second item is a 1777 Charleville musket that is valued at more than $1000. Tickets for both items can be purchased for a mere $5 each.
Contact WA SAR Vice-President Chuck Waid if you would like to volunteer during the Conference. Click HERE to send him an email.
